Program Compliance & Evaluation Officer

SUMMARY OF POSTION

Amirah, Inc. exists to provide aftercare, resources, and opportunities to women who have survived different forms of sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, and prostitution. Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Program Compliance and Evaluation Officer will ensure policy compliance throughout Amirah’s programs and is responsible for all programmatic evaluation, including but not limited to service delivery, system processes, accessibility of services, and records compliance. This is a 30-hour/week position.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct short-and-long term internal research and external research to evaluate service quality, consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency across Amirah’s programming and resources.

  • Identify needed improvements and track these improvements over time in order to support, inform, and implement best practices.

  • Compile data and create comprehensive reports of evaluation findings and recommendations and present this information to the leadership team.

  • Strengthen how Amirah utilizes data to make informed decisions about services provided.

  • Develop and maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic records management systems and perform regular audits to ensure quality standards are being consistently met.

  • Co-develop, clarify, and manage the scope of projects, define deliverables, and achieve target outcomes on time.

  • Identify and address the larger systemic barriers and ways to improve accessibility to survivor services and exit ramps especially for BIPOC-identifying women.

  • Manage Amirah’s program database, Apricot, and provide necessary training and database usage support to staff. 

  • In collaboration with the Director of Programs and Executive Director, organize topic-specific staff trainings where beneficial to support staff preparedness and education.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a Master’s of Social Work degree program at an accredited college or university with course work in Public Health, Social Work, Social Psychology, Sociology, Social Policy, and/or other relevant social or statistical science field.

  • At least 1 year of macro social work experience.

  • Knowledge of data and implementation science concepts, methods, and tools.

  • Strong mixed methods research, data analysis, quality improvement and assurance skills.

  • Experience with community-engaged research principles and methods preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify several courses of action to make informed decisions about project development and implementation.

  • Must be a professing Christian who is committed to support and promote the Christian foundation of the organization and agree to Amirah’s Statement of Faith.

  • Possess a warm and nurturing spirit and humble in approach to relationships and teachable.

  • Strong person-centered, empathic interpersonal skills to interface with employees, management, program participants, mental health professionals, and community stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to set, meet, and exceed clear, measurable goals; excellent time management skills and practices; strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-centered, collaborative environment.

 

BENEFITS

Amirah provides the following benefits for this position:

  • Every four months a full-week of vacation taken within that four month period (three weeks total given each year). Amirah operates on a work-rest rhythm for all staff members.

  • Every quarter, one personal spiritual retreat day is given. This is one day given to take as seen fit to connect with God, to rest, and to restore for this work.

  • Accumulated sick-time is given up to forty (40) hours a year.

  • Paid holidays on New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day

 

COVID POLICIES

At this time, we are asking that all staff are vaccinated, unless there is a proven medical reason. We are also following masking guidelines for each county and city that we operate in. These two things are non-negotiable.

 

SCHEDULE

This is a hybrid position, with some expected presence at Amirah’s administrative office each month and work-from-home flexibility. Hours to be mutually determined at the time of hire.
