Part-time Program Administrative Assistant


Reporting to the Executive Director and working directly under the Program Director and with the program staff, the Program Administrative Assistant will help to maintain schedule coordination for the home and all program participants, developing and maintaining effective office systems for all program efforts.



  • Provide management and oversight to the weekly home schedule for the entire house as well as each individual program participant.

  • Communicate effectively with program staff, interns, and volunteers on the needs of the program participants each week in regard to their schedule.

  • Coordinating schedules for the home.

  • Maintain all daily shift reports used to communicate to volunteers and staff on the daily schedule of the home.

  • Working with program staff, oversee and provide program participants with weekly schedules.

  • Facilitate bi-weekly orientations for new volunteers along with the Coordinator of Volunteers.

  • Maintain effective office systems for the program.

  • Provide administrative support for Program Director and Program Clinicians in regard to programmatic work.

  • Tend to the needs of the program participants should you be the sole program staff member in the home.

  • Provide on call back-up assistance as needed.

  • Attend Program Staff meeting.

  • Strong understanding and management of complex scheduling

  • Strong administrative, detail, and organizational skills

  • Strong ability to problem solve

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a high intensity environment

  • Ability to work in an independent environment showing strong initiative

  • High level of collaboration as a part of a team-unit

  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills

  • Strong computer and software skills

  • Driver’s license and vehicle

  • Non-profit and/or office environment experience preferred


20 hours a week - (we prefer Monday & Wednesday - Friday from 8am-12pm or 9am-1pm; Tuesday from 12-4pm)
