Program Coordinator
Connecticut, part-time

Amirah, Inc. exists to provide aftercare, resources, and opportunities to women who have survived different forms of sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, and prostitution. The Residential Program of Amirah in Connecticut is a supportive transitional home that is intended for women who have exited the commercial sex trade and are seeking continued support while they strive towards independence. The Program Coordinator is a key member of the Residential Program team in Connecticut.

Reporting to the Director of Programs and working directly with the program staff, the Program Coordinator works within a team dynamic to provide trauma-informed support for survivors of sexual exploitation who are living in their own suite-apartments in the safe home in the Greater Hartford area of Connecticut. The Program Coordinator helps to maintain schedule coordination for the home and all program participants, developing and maintaining effective office systems for all program efforts, and offering support in empowering each program participant in building life skills.
