About the CRC

Amirah’s Community Resource Center (CRC) is a safe place of support for those who have experienced exploitation.

The CRC is located in Lynn, MA in a walkable communal location. We work to end the cycle of exploitation through free and accessible services, advocacy and community education. The CRC offers case management, peer mentorship, clinical therapy, group programs, on-site childcare and healing activities for women who have experienced exploitation. We believe that every survivor should have the resources, support, opportunities and community to heal, grow and work towards achieving personal goals.

The CRC is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Calls received outside of these days will be returned as soon as possible during CRC hours.

Services – Free & Confidential

Survivor Mentorship
- Peer Mentors work one-on-one with survivors because we know how powerful it can be to connect with someone who relates to your experience
Groups
- Survivor led resiliency groups explore concepts such as safety and relationships, and are a great way to connect with other people
Clinical Therapy
- A collaborative process that centers your goals and growth with a therapist who can offer you a gentle, nonjudgmental space to process and heal
Case Management
- A collaborative process to support you in working towards your personal goals such as finding and maintaining sobriety, seeking stable housing, furthering education, reconnecting with family, and establishing links to other relevant community services
Healing Activities
- Art projects, writing workshops, therapy dogs, and other activities
Childcare
- We will work to provide childcare while you participate in activities at the CRC
